Payne has over 20 years of project logistics experience and has successfully supported the construction of project in energy, renewables, mining, technology, aerospace, and government sectors in multiple regions around the globe. Prior to his current role at Kuehne + Nagel, he held other executive and leadership positions for project freight forwarders, focusing on capital project development and execution. In Payne's current role at Kuehne + Nagel, he is responsible for growing Construction Project Logistics, identifying key markets to drive growth and further develop, and establishing the strategic commercial offering and ensuring a full complement of services with strategic a focus on North America.
Originally from St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, Payne was raised primarily in Houston, TX and is a graduate from the University of Houston. Payne's occupational passions reside in mentoring the next generation of project logistics professionals and developing new IT solutions to support project logistics. When Payne is not working, he spends his free time in the Caribbean with his family.
