Ross Fu, Ph.D. is the AI/ML Architect for EMD Electronics’ Thin Films R&D organization. In this role he oversees the research and application of state-of-the-art digital technologies for the development of new electronic materials and precursors. Ross's professional interests are in the development and use of chemically-aware machine learning architectures and algorithms to accelerate chemical and materials research. Ross received dual bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and mathematics from MIT and his Ph.D. in computational chemistry from Caltech. Raised in San Diego, Ross enjoys road trips, cooking, and spending time outdoors with his family.
