The chemical engineer Michael Pittroff started 1990 to work with Solvay Interox in Munich, Germany. He was employed in the technical service for the environmental applications of hydrogen peroxide. 1993 Michael Pittroff worked as a research scientist in the environmental research group (Laboratoire Central) of Solvay, Brussels Belgium. In 1996 Mr. Pittroff is employed as technical manager for SF6, S-Fluorides and 227 pharma in the technical service inorganic fluorides. In 2003 Mr. Pittroff joint the global marketing for Pharmaceutical propellants and Semiconductor Chemicals. 2006 he is Marketing Manager for Semiconductor Chemicals in Seoul, Korea. Mr. Pittroff and was in charge to build an electronic gases plant for F2/N2 and SF6. Since 2012 he returned to Solvay Germany and is global marketing manager for electronic gases and Fluorine. He is developing Solvaclean® and its application to replace PFC’s and NF3 in Semiconductor and Photovoltaic applications. He has more than 40 Publications and holds several Patents.
