Veronica Parker, Ed.D., is the Director, Career Education Programs and Services with Ohlone College. In this role, Dr. Parker plans and implements strategic enhancements to Career Education programs and services, works collaboratively with a diverse group faculty, academic leadership, and student services leadership to ensure the College has high quality programs that prepare students for living-wage jobs. Dr. Parker develop and support partnerships with K12, local government, and industry partners. Dr. Parker represent Ohlone in region-wide discussions and projects. Prior to resuming this role, Dr. Parker served as the Coordinator with the California Adult Education Program Technical Assistance Project (CAEP TAP) where she supported more than 400 agencies across the State to provide innovative instructional strategies, bridge skills gaps, and partner with diverse stakeholders to connect learners to employment opportunities. Dr. Parker is committed to offering high quality educational and career pathways to serve the diverse needs of all students and the community through leadership of workforce and career education programs. As a leader dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Parker strive to build a stronger, more inclusive workforce.
