Christopher Riley Bond is a Ph.D. Candidate in Materials Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University advised by Dr. Howard Katz. His research interests include studying charge transport and electrochemical vapor sensing responses in organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), blending electroactive organic crystallites in polymer dielectrics to investigate their effects on charge storage and dielectric breakdown strength, memristor devices, and organic electronic devices comprising flexible polymer membranes. Prior to studying at Johns Hopkins University, he graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering while working part-time for two years in the corporate research processing lab at 3M in Maplewood, Minnesota. In his free time, he enjoys playing the guitar and swimming, having most recently competed in the U.S. Masters Swimming spring national championship in Indianapolis, Indiana.
