    Wendy Zhu is an Associate Partner at McKinsey, leading McKinsey's semiconductor practice with over 7 years of experience in North America. She led McKinsey's "Future of Compute" platform across semiconductor and data center practices, advising on semiconductor and hardware system innovation and solution building to accelerate AI data center infrastructure business growth. She specializes in growth and supply chain strategies, product roadmap development, and sales transformation. Wendy possesses a holistic understanding of ecosystem dynamics, spanning semiconductor players, data center providers, enterprise end-users, and material and equipment vendors.

    She authored three articles on AI infrastructure for McKinsey Insights: "Generative AI: The Next S-curve for the Semiconductor Industry?," "Domain-specific Architectures and the Future of Compute," and "Cybersecurity for the IoT: How Trust Can Unlock Value."

    Prior to McKinsey, Wendy earned her PhD in Neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine and co-founded a Life Science startup."
