Dr. Charles Chung is the IBM lead of quantum industry applications & strategy for electronics, engineering, and manufacturing. He is a scientist, engineer, and published author who has helped develop over 35 products and solutions for applications as diverse as genetic sequencing, automotive sensors, implantable biomedical devices, micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), and quantum sensors. He now develops strategies and solutions for semiconductor and electronics industries that leverage quantum computing.
He serves on the advisory board for the University of Pennsylvania Singh Center for Nanotechnology. He is a co-author of MEMS Product Development: From Concept to Commercialization. He has published numerous articles and presented at conferences, including in IEEE Spectrum, Future Generation Computer Systems, Advanced Manufacturing and Design, Medical Design & Manufacturing, Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics, Sensors Magazine, and Autonomous Vehicle Engineering.
