    Bijan is the Director of AI Center of Excellence at Rockwell Automation. He leads research and development efforts that target computationally efficient algorithms for learning against streaming multi-modal operation data. Of particular interest, is the deployment of AI capabilities that can be deployed flexibly from edge to cloud as part of a closed-loop operation.

    He received his Ph.D. degree from Information Systems Laboratory (Electrical Engineering Department) at Stanford University in 1999. He has been involved in the design, development, and deployment of advanced data-driven solutions for performance monitoring, diagnostics, control, and optimization in a wide-range of industrial applications for more than 20 years.
