Caleb Edwards (he/him), an accomplished Navy submarine veteran, currently holds the position of Senior Research & Development Operations Supervisor at Micron Technology. In his role, Caleb leads a team of Manufacturing Engineers driving innovation and efficiency gains in an R&D semiconductor fabrication plant. Caleb previously served as the Global Lead of the PRIDE+Allies Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Micron Technology. In this role, he oversaw 12 chapters of the ERG, comprising nearly 3,000 members and over two-dozen leaders across three regions. Today, Caleb serves as a Co-Chair of Semiconductor PRIDE, a coalition of companies under the SEMI Foundation's Workforce Development umbrella aiming to advance LGBTQ+ equity and inclusion in the workplace.
An advocate for authentic and genuine leadership, Caleb values high-trust relationships and open conversations. An openly gay man, Caleb also shares his personal experiences with generalized anxiety and panic attack disorders, aiming to foster understanding and inclusivity of mental health issues within the workplace. He endeavors to allow other LGBTQ+ professionals to see themselves being in positions of leadership while shattering stigmas that surround mental health.
Caleb earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Small Group Management and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Organizational Management from Purdue University Global while working full-time at Micron. He is currently attending the University of Southern Indiana remotely as he works towards a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Engineering Management and is expected to complete his degree in August of 2024.
