Erin Rasmussen (she/her) is an accomplished IP Design Engineer for Intel’s Data Center and AI Group (DCAI) working on server memory controller IP and is based in Fort Collins, CO. She started at Intel in 2016 after graduating with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Purdue University in Indiana. Her first role was as a Validation Engineer for the memory controller team, covering multiple areas, including validation tools, RAS (Reliability and Scalability) features, and DFx (Design for Test/Debug). She now owns design implementation for several power management features, as well as memory initialization.
Erin leads several Intel DE&I groups, both locally and globally. She currently chairs the Fort Collins chapters of the Women and LGBT+ Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), served as events chair and co-chair of Intel’s Global LGBT+ ERG, chairs the Intel ERG Alliance for Corporate D&I goals, and served as the operations manager for the Out and Ally Leadership Council.
She has received multiple recognitions for her ERG work, including an Intel Division Recognition Award in 2019 for the Fort Collins’ site Pride Month celebration. Also, during her time as global co-chair, Intel PRIDE was recognized as an Intel Global Diversity & Inclusion Achievement Award (GDIAA) ERG of the Year finalist in 2021, recognized again in 2023 on the GDIAA Wall of Fame, and received ERG if the Year runner-up honors in 2024.
